OS Sheet: 180   Grid Reference: SS 420282 Lat/Long: 51 01'54"N, 004 15'09"W   270ft AMSL We are situated 6nm SW of Chivenor, 2nm W of Bideford Concrete helipad of West Side of Hangar. Windsock displayed. Parking available. Visiting aircraft welcome on prior permission. Please avoid overflying the horse stud to the North on take-off and landing. Full Night Lighting on request. Radio: 122.95 A/G Fuel: Avtur/Jet A1. Avgas occasionally.

Directions to Lake Helipad by car:

From Junction 27 on the M5.

Follow the A361, North Devon Link Road, then the A39 (T) all the way to Bideford. You will reach a roundabout just after the new Torridge Bridge. Go straight over the roundabout towards Bude/Clovelly.

After approx half a mile take the first turning on the right, sign posted to Westward ho! (DO NOT take the Westward Ho! turning on the roundabout.)

Proceed along the road to the top of the hill where you will see a staggered junction with a telephone box. Turn Left here into "Cornborough Road". There is also brown tourist sign saying Lomas Helicopters.

Go along this road and carry straight on past various new building sites where the road will eventually narrow into a country lane. Do not follow the road around to the right - go straight on where it is sign posted to Lomas Helicopters.

Follow the road along and down the hill and you will come to some Farm Buildings. Go past the Farm Buildings and immediately turn right into the Helipad. Please leave your car in the Car Park.
